Settle Dental Clinic Raises Money for Local Charity Jack’s Journey
The team from Oasis Dental Care in Settle has been working hard to raise money for a worthy local charity: Jack’s Journey.
Jack’s Journey was set up to raise awareness of a rare cancerous condition called medulloblastoma. Seven year old Jack Lambert from Wigglesworth was diagnosed with metastatic medulloblastoma in 2010. This aggressive form of cancer attacks the brain and spinal cord.
Since the charity was established, fundraisers have been working hard to generate funds and raise awareness of the condition in partnership with Brain Tumour Research and Support Across Yorkshire.
Last weekend (February 27th), the team at Settle’s Oasis Dental Care supported the charities as part of a national charity day. Dentists, nurses, hygienists and reception staff organised a series of activities and held a raffle and cake sale to raise money for the charities. In total, the team donated more than £250.
The team at Oasis Dental thanked everyone for their kind donations and support during the day.
