A Scottish bride underwent pioneering dental treatment to give her the smile of her dreams just in time for her big day.

Nursery nurse Gemma Lamb decided to have the brand new treatment to transform her smile just 2 days before her wedding day. The new laser treatment, which has been developed in Geneva, was carried out by dentist Dr Elaine Halley, from the Cherrybank Dental Spa in Perth. Dr Halley used Edelweiss Veneers to create Gemma’s new smile; the veneers rival porcelain veneers but the treatment is complete in just one session and there is no need for temporary veneers.

Gemma had a long-standing fear of going to the dentist, but decided to have the treatment because she was desperate to look her best on her wedding day. After the treatment she said she was absolutely delighted with the results of the procedure and said that the smile was the perfect wedding present.

Dr Halley said she was nervous about the prospect of using a brand new treatment so close to Gemma’s big day, especially as she was invited to attend the ceremony; however, the procedure went well and the results were incredible, with several guests commenting on the attractiveness of the bride’s smile.
