Salford Dental Team Supports Charity Appeal to Make a Difference this Christmas

A dental team from Salford is working with a local church to support a charity appeal this Christmas. The team from Windsor Dental Practice has joined forces with St Paul’s Church’s Rev. David Wyatt to collect and deliver food parcels and gifts to people in need this Christmas.

Members of staff have been collecting toys, gifts and food packages and the practice has also donated to the cause. Some of the team will also be helping with the parcel delivery in the run-up to Christmas.

Patient care adviser, Stacy Wright, said that the team supports the appeal every year and nurses and dentists are working hard to get more dental practices in the area involved and raise awareness of the cause, which helps people in need who have no money to buy gifts or no means of cooking a Christmas dinner to enjoy the festive season.

Ms Wright said that the staff team is working hard to raise money and collect donations and gifts and many are also going out to deliver the packages. At this time of year, this is a cause everyone at the practice wants to get behind.

Rev Wyatt, the organiser of the appeal, said that there has been a huge amount of support for the scheme for the last 46 years. However, this year has been a bumper year and people have been incredibly generous, both with their time and their donations.

Anyone who wants to find out more or donate to the St Paul’s appeal is advised to contact Stacy on 0800 020 9717.
