SAGE-Hindawi launch Journal In Dental Biomechanics
SAGE – Hindawi Publishing Company has proclaimed that they are launching the Journal of Dental Biomechanics (JDB), the second open access title, as a joint endeavor. It will be devoted to the investigation of the biomechanics-dentistry connection. This is a rapidly growing subject area. Also, the journal will include research papers on general engineering and biomedicine.
JDB will concentrate on the areas of material biomechanics and tissue, with particular attention on the mechanical properties of hard and soft tissue and polymers, dental alloys, and ceramic materials. JDB should be of great importance to professionals in the fields of: hard tooth structure loading after treatment; PDL technicalities; soft tissue responses after treatment; temporomandibular bone overloading; and, orthodontics and implantology bone remodeling.
