A rugby league player has had to have an operation to remove a tooth from his arm.
Jamie Ainscough discovered he had the tooth embedded in his arm after going for an x-ray this week.
The Wigan winger missed his side’s win over Warrington because he was having Martin Gleeson’s, St Helens centre, tooth removed from his arm.
Hi coach Stuart Raper confirmed that Ainscough had missed the match because of the removal operation and added that his player would be sending the tooth back to Gleeson in the post.
