A dentist from Reading hosted a ball in a bid to raise money for charity, on Saturday.

Professor Bob Khanna, from the DrBK Clinic located on Queen’s Road, invited dentists from all over the country. They attended the International Academy of Advanced Facial Aesthetics charity ball to raise money for the Make a Wish Foundation.

Last year the ball raised almost £20,000 and Dr Khanna is hoping for a similar result this year. The Make a Wish Foundation is a children’s charity, which provides experiences of a lifetime for children with serious, potentially life-threatening health conditions.

The ball took place on Saturday 1st September. Professor Khanna chose to support the Make a Wish Foundation, as he believes it makes a huge difference to children who are going through a very difficult time. The charity organises trips away and one-off experiences for sick children.
