Portsmouth Dental Practice Crowned Dental Practice Of The Year
The owner of a dental practice in Portsmouth said that he was “ecstatic” after the surgery was named Dental Practice of the Year at the Best of Health Awards 2013.
Phil Gowers, owner of Gowers Dental Surgery, said that it was a “lifelong dream” to win an award, which was nominated by local people and everyone at the practice is overjoyed with the award.
The practice was runner-up in the same category last year but went one better this year to claim the prestigious award. The team also received a number of other nominations.
Mr Gowers said that the best thing about winning the award is that people have taken the trouble and time to nominate the practice and this means a great deal; he added that the experience has been very humbling and thanked the patients for their continued support and the staff team for their hard work and dedication.
The runner-up was Practice in the Park in Leigh Park.
The practice was described by patients as efficient and organised and the team was praised for putting patients first and offering first class care.
