Students from the university gave an average satisfaction score of 96.71 per cent, making it the most popular new dental school and the second most popular dental school in the UK. Plymouth was just pipped to the first prize by the University of Glasgow.

The university received extremely high marks for teaching, research facilities and resources, IT facilities and pastoral factors.

Head of the university dental school, Professor Christopher Tredwin, said that everyone is “absolutely delighted” with the outcome of the student survey and said that it was an amazing achievement to be crowned the most popular new school, and also the leading dental school in England and second in the UK.

The results of the survey show that students are happy at the university, both in terms of their university life and the quality of the teaching they receive. Professor Tredwin said the award is great news for the university and also for Plymouth in general.
