Plans to turn a former Chester estate agency into a dental surgery have been given the green light.

The owners of Prestatyn Dental, an independent practice, submitted plans to Cheshire West and Chester Council to change the use of the unit on Hoole Road. The proposals have now been approved, paving the way for a new practice, which will open from Monday to Saturday.

The new clinic will create six jobs, including three full-time and three part-time positions. The practice will open from 9am until 5pm 6-days-a-week.

The owners currently operate a family-friendly dental clinic in the seaside town of Prestatyn and they are looking forward to opening a new practice in the heart of Chester. The existing practice offers pay as you go services, as well as a membership scheme.

The vacant premises, which are located on a corner plot on Hoole Road, were previously occupied by Northwood estate agents. Hoole Road is one of the main thoroughfares into the city centre and it is easily accessible by foot and via bus.

Details of services that will be available at the new Chester surgery have not yet been confirmed, but patients who are interested in registering are encouraged to look out for updates in the coming months.
