Perthshire Dentists Host Top Gun Themed Charity Day
A dental team from Blairgowrie, Perthshire, spent the day dressed up as the cast of iconic 80’s movie Top Gun on Friday 21st August to raise money for charity.
Dentists, receptionists, nurses and hygienists from Blairgowrie Dental Practice donned costumes and props to celebrate the event, which was held in aid of the Scottish air ambulance service. The team channelled the show’s stars, Maverick and Goose, wearing aviators, flight suits and helmets to raise awareness of the work done by the ambulance service and generate funds for the Perth-based air ambulance, which is the only charity service based in Scotland.
To get patients in the mood for the event, the team staged a number of mock scenes and took photographs, which were posted on the clinic’s Facebook page. All the videos were shot at the practice, which is located on the High Street and patients were encouraged to support the campaign and get involved with the fun of the day.
During the day, which was enjoyable, as well as being a great way of raising money for a worthwhile cause, everyone got into the spirit of Top Gun and the staff members had fun dressing up, swapping costumes and taking photographs.
