Peppersmith Mints To be Sold In Dental And Confectionary Aisles

Sample News Big

Peppersmith mints, which claim to benefit oral health, are to be sold in both the dental and confectionery aisles of Boots stores after the brand secured a dual site deal with the chain, which will come into play from the 1st February.

The mints will now be sold alongside toothpaste and other oral hygiene products, as well as adorning the shelves of the confectionary aisle.

Peppersmith has also extended its listing with WHSmith.

Peppersmith mints contain xylitol, which is also found in some chewing gum products; xylitol is a natural sweetener, which has been found to possess benefits for oral health.

Chewing the mints after eating helps to reduce the risk of tooth decay and the brand is hoping that people will switch to Peppersmith mints rather than reaching for sugar-laden packets of mints, bags of sweets or chocolate bars.

The brand is investing in marketing campaigns to make people aware of the health benefits of choosing Peppersmith mints over other brands of mints and chewing gum and the listing in the dental aisles will help to hammer this message home, as people catch a glimpse of the product next to toothbrushes, toothpaste and mouthwash products, which are all associated with keeping the teeth clean and healthy.
