Oregon ‘tooth taxi’ to serve children in South County

The ‘tooth taxi’, a mobile dental unit, which serves children across Oregon, will visit students in South County.

The mobile unit will visit Seaside Heights Elementary School between March 29^th and April 1^st. The van will provide dental screenings on Tuesday and then treatment will be given to children who are diagnosed with dental problems.

The tooth taxi is a project run by the Dental Foundation of Oregon in conjunction with Oregon Education Association Choice Trust and the Oregon Dental Service Companies. The mobile van can provide a range of routine dental treatments, including fillings, tooth extractions, cleaning treatments and dental examinations.
