The ‘tooth taxi’, a mobile dental unit, which serves children across Oregon, will visit students in South County.

The mobile unit will visit Seaside Heights Elementary School between March 29th and April 1st. The van will provide dental screenings on Tuesday and then treatment will be given to children who are diagnosed with dental problems.

The tooth taxi is a project run by the Dental Foundation of Oregon in conjunction with Oregon Education Association Choice Trust and the Oregon Dental Service Companies. The mobile van can provide a range of routine dental treatments, including fillings, tooth extractions, cleaning treatments and dental examinations.
