Oregon dentist combats school tooth decay
An Oregon dentist has been combating tooth decay in schools in his area.
Dr Travis Evans, who practices at Lakeside Family and Cosmetic Dentistry Tualatin, decided to educate local children with extra dental care this February as part of Children’s Dental Health Month.
The slogan for Children’s Dental Health Month 2010 is “For a Sparkly Smile, Remember to Brush & Floss Every Day!”
Dr Evans has been teaching youngsters, from kindergartners to second graders, about the importance of good oral health by using a variety of props including real teeth videos, and complimentary toothbrushes.
