Sample News Big

There is good news for people with a sweet tooth, as a new range of tooth-friendly sweets hits the shelves this week.

Tingz treats, which contain xylitol and are sugar-free, are actually good for your teeth and they have been accredited by the UK’s leading dental charity, the British Dental Health Foundation.

Tingz sweets are manufactured by Peppersmith and they are available in vanilla and strawberry and mandarin and orange flavours. The brand also manufactures sugar-free mints and chewing gum.

The product will be unveiled at the IFE food and drink exhibition in London this week and the range will be available to buy from Ocado and Whole Foods Market in the near future.

Tingz contain xylitol, a natural ingredient, which is proven to reduce the risk of decay and plaque; it is also found in some chewing gum products.

Dan Shrimpton, co-founder of Peppersmith, said that the concept of a sugar-free sweet that actually tastes really good is exciting and new and the company is confident that retailers and members of the public will embrace the product.

The company reported a huge increase of sales of products that contain xylitol last year and they are expecting even better sales this year in line with the launch of the Tingz range.
