The new owner of a dental practice in Belfast has revealed exciting expansion plans.

Conor O’Hare, principal dentist and owner of Gate Lodge Dental Practice, is planning to expand the treatment list, introducing new services to patients and adding two new members of staff.

Mr O’Hare took over the practice in October and has set about adding a raft of services. The practice will now provide the latest cosmetic treatments, including facial aesthetics, smile makeovers and adult orthodontics, as well as general and restorative dentistry. The expansion has created two new full-time jobs at the practice.

Mr O’Hare said that the demand for cosmetic dentistry is rising, and patients are actively “seeking out” treatments that enhance the look of the smile and boost confidence. Aesthetic services are a “big part of the repertoire of the modern private practice and I see these services playing a significant role in the future of Gate Lodge,” he added.

The practice currently provides treatment for around 3,000 patients, but there are plans to increase capacity in the future by adding a third surgery. This will allow the team to treat an additional 2,000 patients.
