A brand new NHS dental practice will open its doors to the public in Worthing today.

The Tooth Booth practice will open on Broadwater Boulevard, next to the Broadwater Medical Centre. The new surgery will offer more than 5,000 new NHS dental places and patients can register by contacting the practice via email or telephone and it is also possible to register through the practice website.

David Abraham, operations manager at Tooth Booth said that the team was “delighted” to be opening a new branch in Worthing and the chain already had a number of practices in the South East.

The new surgery is kitted out with state of the art equipment and is open to all patients in the Worthing area and there is also access for disabled patients.

The new practice is part of a major investment of 1.8 million pounds in dental services in the county. The funding has been used to create new places in Worthing, Chichester and Crawley and in total an additional 25,000 places have been made available in West Sussex.

David Grant, Dental Contracts Manager at NHS West Sussex, said that the team was delighted to be working with staff at the Tooth Booth to promote oral health services and improve standards of oral health in West Sussex.
