New Dental Surgery To Open In Bedford Tesco Store
A new dental surgery is set to open in Bedford’s Riverfield Drive Tesco store, allowing patients to have a check-up, as well as stocking up the cupboards and getting their prescriptions.
The new surgery, which will provide NHS and private dental treatment, will open in July and opening hours will be extended to fit in with the 24 hour store, providing evening and weekend appointments.
The surgery will open next to the pharmacy and it will be managed by Integrated Dental Holdings. The surgery will be the first NHS practice to operate in a Tesco store in England; there is a surgery in the Slough store but it is a private practice.
A spokeswoman for Tesco said that the new surgery will offer patients greater flexibility, especially as the practice will be open during the weekends and evenings.
Services available at the practice will include fillings and crowns, emergency dentistry, routine check-ups, dentures and private treatments.
