Sample News Big

Dentists, nurses, receptionists and dental hygienists from a practice in Nelson are gearing up for a gruelling fundraising challenge.

The team from Dentistry for All will be taking part in the Pennine 10K on Sunday 22nd June to raise money for Pendleside Hospice. The event is organised by Run For All and hundreds of people are expected to take part.

The team has been training for the run and everyone is looking forward to completing the challenge and presenting the hospice with a cheque.

Pendleside Hospice provides care and support for terminally ill patients and their families and is a cause close to many of the staff members’ hearts.

Registration for the event usually costs £19.50, but the hospice is offering a reduced rate of £10 if you register direct with them and fulfil a fundraising pledge.

The Dentistry for All team is made up of 15 runners and they are hoping to raise as much money as possible for the hospice. Anyone who wishes to donate or support the team is invited to pop in to the practice, which is based on Scotland Road.
