A dental company in Maine is using 2011 to try and spread the gospel of good oral hygiene.
Tom’s of Maine produce dental products such as toothpaste and mouthwash, unusually these products are created using natural ingredients.
The company are supporting a campaign called Dental Health for All which aims to help US citizens with no dental insurance receive the care that they deserve. One example of this is that approximately 250,000 tubes of toothpaste have been given away absolutely free as part of the campaign.
Tom’s of Maine make products such as anti-plaque toothpaste, which contains no fluoride and foams due to a derivative of liquorice root as oppose to the chemical sodium lauryl sulphate used in most toothpaste.
They are also inviting people to cast a vote for the number one mobile dentist, voting commences on February 1st.
