Mydentist reveals plans to move Lancaster dental practice to larger shopping centre premises

Mydentist has confirmed plans to move its existing practice in Lancaster to a new location in a shopping centre.

The company sought opinions on the proposal from patients last year and is now proceeding with the move. The practice will relocate from Meeting House Lane to a vacant unit at St Nicholas Arcades. The premises were formerly occupied by Argos.

The move will enable mydentist to expand operations in Lancaster, as the new site is significantly bigger. The retail park is well-connected with a bus stop just 3 minutes from the practice and access to regular services running around the city and further afield. There is also ample parking available at the shopping centre.

The practice will offer both NHS and private dental services and opening hours will be extended to offer patients more flexibility. The clinic will open from 8am until 6pm on weekdays and between 8am and 4pm on Saturdays. The new location is more accessible for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility and there are surgeries located on the ground floor. The clinic is also more modern and practical and there is a large, comfortable waiting area.

The current team will be moving to the new site and mydentist is hoping that work on the clinic will be complete by August. Patients will be kept in the loop and informed about opening dates. For now, patients are advised to continue visiting the Meeting House Lane practice as normal.
