Multi million dental school under construction
A university has awarded a contract worth more than $110million to a building company to construct its new School of Dentistry.
KBR’s Building Group won the $112million contract to erect the Medical College of Georgia’s (MCG) new state-of-the-art dental school.
The new five-story dental school will nearly double the size of its current 40-year-old facility at 268,788-square-foot. It is set to become one of the largest dental schools in the US.
The construction group has announced that it will complete the school by June 2011.
Chair of KBR’s Building Group Luther Cochrane said the company were proud to be able to provide such an important facility.
He also claimed that the group had extensive experience in constructing world-class education facilities.
