Mississippi dentist receive recognition
A Mississppi dentist has been named as a leader in education by Dentistry Today magazine.
Oral surgeon, Dr John Roberson, who practices in Hattiesburg, was honoured as one of the magazines Leader in Continuing Education for 2010.
Dr Roberson, who holds certifications from National Dental Board of Anesthesiology and the American Board of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery, lectures about the need for dental offices to be prepared for medical emergencies.
He co-authors the ‘Eye on Emergency’ column for AGD Impact the Academy of General Dentistry;s journal with Dr Chris Rothman and is a Seminar Series speaker for the American Dental Association.
A graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, University of Mississippi and the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, Dr Roberson practices oral and maxillofacial surgery in Hattiesburg.
