Mischa Barton hits out at the media approach to her wisdom teeth meltdown
Mischa Barton has lashed out at the tabloids because she thinks they have made her appear loopy.
The former OC star was admitted to a mental health hospital in Los Angeles two months ago and Mischa attributed this breakdown to overwork and excruciating pain caused by wisdom teeth surgery.
The media latched onto this story and have since published a number of articles which may lead readers to believe she is unstable.
Newkerala.com reported that Mischa has admitted she hit rock bottom but is upset because people think she has lost her marbles.
The actress reportedly said that she was overwhelmed with by the amount of work she had and that the pain from the botched surgery, in which she had to have her jaw drilled, brought her down still further.
She now claims to be healthy after a bad year and is sick of all these reports about her mental state.
Mischa feels that one stay in a hospital has been turned into massive deal about a mental breakdown and hates the people look at her like she’s unstable and cross the street when they see her.
The actress is now putting the rumours behind her and is getting on with her life.
