A dental practice in Milton Keynes is set to benefit from free advertising on Sky TV.

Sky has selected Oxford House Dental Practice in Fenny Stratford to receive financial support through its AdSmart SME100 initiative. The practice is one of a hundred small businesses chosen to participate in the scheme. The aim is to give small businesses a platform to advertise their services and reach new customers during the Covid-19 crisis.

Oxford House, like the vast majority of dental surgeries, had to close at the end of March to reduce the risk of the virus spreading. As a result, the last few months have been extremely challenging for the team. Principal dentist, Dr Kaival Patel, said that it has been very difficult moving from life at a hundred miles per hour to everything stopping suddenly. The Sky TV advert has given the team something to focus on during lockdown, and everyone is working together to create something special. Dr Patel explained that it was an incredible opportunity, as a small, family-run dental clinic would never normally have the means to produce a TV advert that will seen by thousands of people.

Director of AdSmart Local and Development at Sky, David Sanderson, said that the Coronavirus crisis has posed challenges for small and medium-sized businesses all over the country. The Sky AdSmart campaign is a means of helping companies and ventures to connect with audiences and promote their brand.
