MedWorks, a charitable organisation based in Cleveland, has announced that it will host a free dental clinic.

MedWorks will team
up with the Free Clinic of Greater Cleveland to offer free dental services to local people. The clinic will be held on Saturday the 14th May from 8am to 5pm at the Free Clinic on Euclid Avenue.

The clinic will be staffed by professionals from the University Hospital and a mobile unit provided by Ronald McDonald House will provide tooth extraction procedures and fluoride treatments. Members of staff will also be on hand to talk to children and parents about oral hygiene and how to protect their teeth and gums.

MedWorks was established to try and help people who do not have insurance and those on a low income to access health and dental care; the number of people struggling to afford medical and dental care has increased since the global recession hit and free clinics have been swamped all over the USA.
