Malvern dental team celebrates awards success
A dental team from Malvern is all smiles after scooping a regional award.
Malvern Hills Dental Care was crowned the winner of ‘Best Private Dental Practice for Worcestershire’ at the Global Health and Pharma Oral Health and Dentistry Awards.
The practice, which used to be an NHS clinic, has been offering both NHS and private dental services for a few years. The range of services has increased dramatically and feedback from patients has been very positive. Patients can access general dentistry, as well as emergency care and cosmetic treatments.
Due to growing demand for treatment, the practice, which currently has seven surgeries, is set to expand in the coming months.
Dr Gurpreet Nandra, owner and principal dentist, said that everyone was thrilled to win the award, especially after what has been a very tough period for staff and patients. The pandemic was incredibly difficult with practices forced to close and backlogs meaning that some patients have had to wait longer for treatment. Dr Nandra paid tribute to the team and thanked patients for their support over the last three years.
Dr Nandra revealed plans to expand in the future and increase the range of treatments. There are also plans in the pipeline to create a dental training hub for dentists who are looking to develop their skills and invest in professional development, education and learning.
It is an exciting time for the Malvern Hills Dental Care team and the recent awards success underlines the achievements of the practice since diversifying.
