Loren upset over Berlusconi attack
Sophia Loren has said that she was upset when Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi had two of his teeth broken in an attack.
The Oscar-winning Italian actress claimed that she suffered greatly from the attack on the prime minister as she feels very close to him.
She said that she felt as though her own husband had been attacked.
Mr Berlusconi had to spend days in San Raffaele hospital recovering from the attack where he was punched with a statue by Massimo Tartaglia, who reportedly has history of mental illness.
As well as broken teeth, the prime minister also suffered a broken nose and he is now recovering in his villa in Arcore.
Tartaglia, who was arrested after the attack, wrote a letter of apology to Mr Berlusconi.
