Leicester-based dental chain adds new acquisition
A dental chain based in Leicester is expanding, with the acquisition of a new practice.
A&U Dental has completed the takeover of Citident Dental Practice, which is located in Milton Keynes. The business was launched in 2016 by siblings, Aly S Tejani and Ambareen Tejani-Sharif.
The firm is growing quickly and the aim is to create a portfolio of twenty practices within the next five years. Citident Dental Practice is the company’s seventh clinic.
The owners have ambitious plans and are now working on new acquisitions within the South of England and London. The pair has benefited from funding worth £2.5 million from Santander UK.
Speaking about their goals, Mr Tejani said that with the support of Santander UK, the business has doubled in size in the last 12 months. The target is to create a national network of surgeries with the focus now shifting to London and the South East.
Jill Yates, relationship director at Santander UK, said that the team is “delighted” to support the growth of a business it has been with since 2016. The firm is growing quickly and the bank is “pleased to provide funding” to support the ambitions of the owners.
