Kid’s teeth can be reattached if knocked out
A scheme in a Michigan county is making a solution available to schools which help children’s teeth reattach to their mouths if they are knocked out.
Thirty-five schools across Marquette County are being provided with Transport A Tooth kits
Pharmacist Dave Campana said that the kits work by providing a solution which mimics human fluids and helps removed teeth reattach.
Gretchen Lekenen, a dental hygienist, added that the solution helps the tooth remain intact so when it is restored in the mouth it has a better chance of staying there.
Health department officials have come out and said that most teeth are saveable if child and tooth are rushed to a dentist immediately.
