Jackiey Budden Has Emergency Surgery After Losing Teeth
Jackiey Budden, mother of the late Jade Goody, has had emergency dental surgery after losing six teeth in an accident.
Jackiey, 56, was photographed showing off a brand new smile on Tuesday after undergoing urgent treatment; she knocked out six teeth when she fell on her way home from a friend’s birthday celebrations.
Jackiey said that she slipped after missing a step after leaving the restaurant and before she knew it she was on the floor and had lost several teeth. She said that the fall had left her feeling like “Popeye”. The 56 year old, who insisted that she had not been drinking at the dinner, said that she misjudged the step and there was blood everywhere; she added that losing one tooth would have been bad enough, but losing 6 was very hard to take and she said that she was very embarrassed to smile.
The accident caused Jackiey to break the dental plate she had fitted as part of a television makeover, which cost £150,000, in 2006. After the fall she did not waste much time in seeing a dentist and was pictured looking much more content flashing a new set of teeth shortly after.
Jackiey was often pictured in the newspapers when her daughter, Jade, who shot to fame in Big Brother, was alive, but she has had a low profile since Jade tragically died from cervical cancer at the age of 27 in 2009.
