A local dentist and farmer recently paired up to form part of an aerobatic team, in order to make their debut at the Bray Summerfest.

Bray Summerfest currently takes place in Co. Wicklow, Ireland, where around 85,000 gathered to observe the duo. This was the sixth year in which the pair participated; however this was their first year that they worked as a team.

Former RAF pilot, Gerry Humphries had turned to organic beef farming in the area. He said that he was excited about taking to the skies once more and looked forward to performing a number of stunts with his dentist friend Eddie Goggins.

The idea originally came from Mr Goggins who was looking for a little more excitement; Mr Humphries said that Eddie needed more adrenaline than what he could receive from filling teeth.

The three hour spectacular included a number of acts from the UK and Aer Lingus, who gave positive comments about the duo. The local team said they were honoured to perform in front of experts and even came up with their own stunt aptly named ‘The Split Shamrock’.
