Invisalign, one of the world’s leading invisible brace systems, has been revealed as the sponsor of Channel 5’s new series of The Bachelor.

Invisalign adverts appear before and after the main programme, as well as during the advert breaks. Adverts will also be published in the channel’s sister magazine, OK!

Invisalign as reportedly paid a six-figure sum for the advertisement opportunities during the reality TV series.

The Bachelor is a 10-week series charting the journey of a male celebrity looking for love in the Mediterranean and this year’s bachelor is Spencer Matthews, of Made in Chelsea. The series kicked off last Friday, with Spencer meeting the group of 24 single girls for the first time.

The sponsorship deal was negotiated by Vizuem, the same company that arranged the deal for Invisalign’s parent group, Align Technology in 2007.

Jamie Morley, general manager for Align Technology in the UK and Ireland, said that The Bachelor is an ideal partner for Invisalign, with a target audience of young girls. The Bachelor follows Big Brother on Friday evenings, with Channel 5 eager to build on the success of Big Brother among young females.
