Husband and wife team take the reins at Portishead dental practice
A husband and wife dental team has taken the reins at a Portishead dental practice.
Dr Karim Abdel-Khalek and his wife, Sarah, have taken over at Combe Road Dental. The couple is currently in the process of rebranding the Somerset clinic, which was established in 1994. The duo has combined clinical experience of over 50 years.
Karim and Sarah are working hard to modernise the practice. As well as rebranding, the dentists are developing a new website and expanding the treatment list to provide patients with access to the latest innovations, as well as family and general dental services. Combe Road Dental has an excellent reputation for providing first-class general dentistry and the team is looking forward to adding cosmetic dental care, adult orthodontics and facial aesthetics.
Talking about their plans for the future, Karim said that the goal was to build on the successes of the previous owners by updating the practice and adding new treatments, including the latest cosmetic and orthodontic services.
Dentists Karim and Sarah work alongside general dentist, Mara, as well as Richard, who is currently doing a post-graduate degree in restorative dentistry and Dr Tim Reynolds, whose work primarily focuses on complex oral surgery and implant services. The team also comprises dental hygienist, Anne and new addition, Holly.
