A Glasgow dental practice, which opened 100 years ago, has new owners.

Bruce and Lindsey Hogan have sold Somerset Place Dental Practice after taking over in 1998. The practice, which is located in Park District, has been treating private patients in the city for a century.

Christie & Co oversaw the sale of the practice, which is based on the ground floor of an historic townhouse.

The new owners of Somerset Place Dental Practice are Adam Gilmartin and Mark Church. The duo met at the University of Dundee and bought their first practice together in 2017.
In a joint statement, the owners said that they knew there was something special and unique about the practice as soon as they went to view it for the first time. They are looking forward to building on the success of the previous owners, Bruce and Lindsey, and have ambitious plans to expand services and enhance the visibility of the practice. The aim is to continue providing high-quality patient care while developing the business. The duo is keen to add more dental treatments and introduce a referral service to provide access to specialist dental care.

Associate director of dental at Christie & Co, Joel Mannix, said that he had been talking to the previous owners for some time and it was clear that selling the practice required a targeted approach due to its uniqueness. From conversations with Adam and Mark, it was evident that they would be an ideal match for the practice.
