Harewood Dental Team Celebrate Triple Success at Private Dentistry Awards
A dental team from Harewood, near Leeds, is all smiles after being crowned the winners of three awards at the Private Dentistry Awards 2014.
Dental Excellence Harewood was awarded 1st place in the Best New Practice, Practice of the Year (North) and Most Attractive Practice categories. The practice competed against up to 13 finalists in each category and the final decision was made by a panel comprising of dental experts and leading figures from the dental industry.
The awards recognise clinical excellence, as well as customer service, community and educational initiatives, leadership and good team morale. Winning one award is a great achievement, let alone three, and the team was ecstatic when the practice name was called out.
Partner at the practice and award-winning dentist, Donald Sloss, said that it was an incredible achievement to be successful in three categories, especially as the practice has only been up and running for one year. The awards are highly coveted and to win is a huge honour for everyone involved at Dental Excellence Harewood. The awards underline the success of the practice in its first year and are a fitting reward for the team’s hard work over the past 12 years.
The practice opened following a renovation project, which transformed a derelict house on the iconic Harewood Estate, into a state of the art dental centre boasting all the latest equipment. The transformation cost almost £2 million.
