Richard Graham, MP for Gloucester, has teamed up with Genix Healthcare to tackle oral health problems, including childhood decay, in the city.

Mr Graham is working with Genix Healthcare to try and encourage local people to adopt healthier dental habits and increase patient registration in the city. Genix Healthcare is one of the UK’s leading dental chains and its practice in Gloucester provides dental care for around 3,000 patients every month.

The Conservative MP recently met with the director of Genix Healthcare, Mustafa Mohammed, to discuss measures that could help to improve standards of oral health in the city. Mr Graham spoke at the practice and took the time to have a look around and meet the staff. The team is working with health professionals and local schools to try and promote initiatives and encourage adults and children to take advantage of dental services available in the area.

Mr Graham said that it was a pleasure to visit and an honour to meet the team and talk about ways to tackle dental decay and ensure that more children are registered with a dentist. Genix Healthcare was established ten years ago and the chain now has 25 surgeries all over the country.
