Give kids a smile treats more than 300k
This year’s Give Kids A Smile events will give more than 300,000 American children free access to dental care.
There will be 1,962 events (GKAS) happening all over the country on or around 5 February with 319,000 children expected to receive treatment.
More than 12,700 dentists are expected to participate in the program with more than 36,000 volunteers and other oral health professionals.
The events are being sponsored by Henry Schein Dental who will provide dental kits which contain gloves, patient bibs, masks, dental floss, fluoride products and prophy paste.
Colgate Palmolive will also be contributing by donating toothbrushes and toothpaste while DEXIS Digital X-ray Systems will be providing X-ray units.
