A leading American furniture retailer has donated thousands of dollars to a children’s charity, it has been announced.

Arhaus Furniture has confirmed that a donation of $50,000 has been made to Global Dental Relief, a charity, which provides much-needed dental care for children in impoverished countries around the world. Cash was collected at 46 stores across the USA and will be used to support projects in several different nations.

Stores donated a percentage of the income from sales made between the 1st and 31st August and at the close of pay at the end of the month, executives were delighted to announce that $50,000 would be given to the charity.

Arhaus Furniture has supported Global Dental Relief for three years now and the firm has donated a total of $151,107, which has made a difference to hundreds of people living all over the world. The money raised is used to provide dental professionals, supplies and equipment for week-long clinics hosted by Global Dental Relief; each child attending the clinic receives a thorough dental examination, a cleaning treatment and preventative fluoride varnish treatment, which helps to reduce the risk of decay in the future. Children are also able to access further treatment, such as fillings or tooth extraction, if they are required.

CEO of Arhaus Furniture, John Reed, said that many children hate going to the dentist, but Global Dental Relief provides care for children who are in desperate need of dental treatment, preventing them from feeling pain and enabling them to live life to the full. One of the clinics recently supported by the firm was a dental event in Hue, Vietnam; over the course of 5 days, the team of volunteers treated more than 600 children and more than $161,000 worth of care was provided free of charge.
