Free dental screening clinics to be held in Chennai

A free dental screening event will be held in Chennai this weekend.

The Public Dental Exhibition and Dental Education Fair will be hosted by the Indian Dental Association at Valluvar Kottam.

This is the second time the dental fair will be held in Chennai; over 200 exhibitions will be displayed and visitors can also watch and listen to recordings and screenings on oral hygiene, common dental disease and methods of preventing oral health conditions. Entrance to the fair is free to children.

Oral cancer screenings will be available free of charge at the event. The fair will be inaugurated by the Health Secretary, V K Subbaj on the 2nd April.
