Sample News Big

The North Carolina Mission of Mercy is inviting adults to attend a two-day free dental clinic this weekend.

The clinic is offering free treatment for those on a low income and will open between 7.30am and 5pm on Friday and Saturday; the event will take place at the First Presbyterian Church. Appointments will be allocated on a first come, first served basis and registration will begin at 6am.

The clinic is aiming to treat around 700 hundred people over the course of the two-day event; routine treatments, including dental examinations, cleaning treatments, extractions, restorations and dental X-rays will be provided free of charge.

The Mission of Mercy runs free dental events all over the USA and has already provided millions of dollars worth of free dental treatment and helped thousands of people; the clinics are aimed at people who cannot afford dental care because they do not have insurance and earn a low wage. Accessing affordable dental care is a huge problem in the USA and millions of people are going without the care they need because they do not have the money to pay for it and there is a widespread shortage of affordable dental care.

The clinic will be staffed by around 80 volunteer dentists and a team of assistants and hygienists.
