Evan Rachel Wood Undergoes Dental Surgery
Actress Evan Rachel Wood has undergone complex dental surgery to replace a missing tooth, it has been confirmed.
The actress, who recently starred in The Wrestler, lost a tooth while on a night out with friends in France in September. The actress was celebrating her birthday when she was accidentally elbowed in the face.
Wood was treated with a temporary replacement just a few hours after the incident but she underwent surgery on Monday to replace the tooth permanently.
Wood took to Twitter yesterday to seek comfort from her followers and tweeted, “Getting ready for some serious dental surgery. Finishing the work on my tooth once and for all. Send good vibes everyone!”
Evan Rachel Wood is the latest in a long string of celebrities to reach out to their Twitter family for support prior to dental treatment. In the past couple of months, Stephen Fry and Kim Kardashian have both taken to the social media site to ask for support before visiting the dentist.
