Edinburgh Police Desperate For Dentists to Help with Crime Investigation

A woman’s body was discovered on Corstorphine Hill, Edinburgh, during the early hours of June 6th.

Since the discovery of her body, police have been carrying out a number of investigations and are desperate for the help of local dentists. The woman was discovered wearing a number of expensive rings and it was apparent that she had a number of cosmetic dental treatments, previously carried out.

The investigations have noted that the woman was wearing expensive dental veneers and dental implants. It is crucial that her dental records are looked into in order for the police to finally identify her body. The police have now issued the woman’s dental work through trade publications in a bid to gather more information about her.

Detective Chief Inspector, Keith Hardie of Police Scotland, stated that the public had done a good job in aiding the case so far but that they were missing some information which could help identify her body.

He went on to say that the Edinburgh Dental Institute have successfully identified the dental implants and veneers which were used. The results were published in a number of dental trade publications around Scotland. He hopes that this will jog a local dentist’s memory regarding treatments which may have been provided to her.

The woman in question was described as being, 5ft 2, aged 32-60 and wearing a distinctive Irish Claddagh ring.

Investigations are still ongoing in a bid to discover who was responsible for her murder.
