Edinburgh Dentist Receives Prestigious Award
Dr Elaine Halley, from Cherrybank Dental Spa, is celebrating after receiving a prestigious award. The dentist, who is widely regarded as one of Scotland’s leading cosmetic dentists, has been awarded the ‘Best employer in Scotland’ title at the Dentistry Scotland Awards.
Cherrybank Dental Spa also won the Best Marketing award at the ceremony, which took place at the Gleneagles Hotel at the beginning of this month.
This is the second year the awards ceremony has taken place; it was established by Dentistry Scotland magazine to honour Scottish dental professionals and practices.
Dr Halley is highly regarded in Scotland and beyond; she set up Cherrybank Dental Spa in Perthin 1995 and opened the second branch in Edinburgh in 2009. Last year Dr Halley received the award for Outstanding Individual of the Year and the Edinburgh branch of Cherrybank Dental Spa won the Best New Private Practice in Scotland.
Dr Halley said that dental team was delighted with the awards, especially as the last few years have been hard with the economic climate being so uncertain; she added that that she was very pleased with the marketing award because it is an area the practices have really been focusing on to try and help patients who are not happy with their current dental status.
The practices employ around 35 members of staff, as well as visiting specialists.
