A Dover Priory dental surgery has a new owner after the previous manager retired following 25 years at the helm.

Dr Dorothy Riley has taken the reins of Dover Priory Dental Practice from Dr Hoe Toh. Dr Toh managed the practice, which was established in 1928, for a quarter of a century. Dr Riley started working at the practice at the beginning of November and is excited about the challenged that lie ahead. She has relocated to the area and looks forward to getting to know her colleagues and the surrounding area.

The team will also be joined by a new dental hygienist.

Dr Riley joins the practice having gained undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications at Queen Mary University of London and King’s College London. After graduating, she worked as a senior house officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in hospitals in Bristol and North London. She is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons and has great ambitions for the practice.

In her excitement to introduce new services and techniques, Dr Riley plans to invest in new equipment. She believes that this is an exciting time to be investing in the area, which is undergoing extensive regeneration, and is happy to have made the move with her family.

Dover Priory Dental Practice was formerly known as Priory Road Dental Practice.
