Dodgy dentist fixes tooth 71 times
A Swedish dentist as been reported after he took dozens of times to repair people’s teeth.
The dentist, who practices in Gothenburg and cannot be named for legal reasons, reportedly treated one patient more than 130 times over a six-year period.
Sore-mouthed and in constant pain, the patient had one tooth ‘fixed’ 71 times, a second 59 times and another 51 times.
According to the patient’s report, the dentist promised to perform a variety of treatments, which were paid for by his insurance, but never did.
Fearing ridicule, the patient said that visiting another dentist was not an option because the state of his teeth was embarrassing.
After finally being checked over by specialists at Gothenburg University it was revealed that the original treatments performed by the dodgy dentist had been of extremely poor quality.
However, the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare discovered no evidence that the accused was even a dentist.
