Dentist beats wife during surgery
A Florida dentist has been charged with beating his wife while he performed surgery on a patient.
Dr Prashant Pandya, who has been charged with domestic battery, reportedly hit his wife, who is also his dental assistant, around four times with a metal implement while he performed surgery on a sedated patient.
The 31-year-old, who practices at Manatee Oral and Facial Surgery Center on 5460 Lena Road, was reported to police by other dental assistants who were present during the incident.
He has r
emained in jail with a $10,000 price set for his bail.
