The year one lead from Peninsula Dental School has been appointed to a top position in European dentistry.

Dr Jane McHarg has been named as the chair of the Association of Dental Education in Europe’s (ADEE) Special Interest Group in Research.

Dean of the Peninsula Dental School, Professor Elizabeth Kay, congratulated Dr McHarg on her great achievement and said that it emphasised the importance that the school placed on dental education.

The ADEE is a global voice about dental education and has more than 160 dental school members.

Professor Kay said that Dr McHarg’s enthusiasm, knowledge and commitment was going to be a great asset for the ADEE.
