A dental practice in Boston has raised more than £200 in support of the forces. Members of the dental team at Main Ridge West Dental Practice have been fundraising for military charity, Help for Heroes, which supports injured soldiers and their families.

The charity provides valuable support, care and advice for soldiers who have been injured in combat and their relatives. The dental team presented a cheque for £220 to Sergeant Evans of ACIO in Boston.

Help for Heroes was established in 2007 in order to provide practical and emotional advice and guidance for military personnel. The charity was set up by Bryn and Emma Parry following a visit to Selly Oak Hospital in Birmingham which cares for injured soldiers.

The charity has raised in excess of £150 million and this latest donation from the dental team and the people of Boston will boost the coffers.

Staff at the practice thanked patients and local people for supporting the cause and buying raffle tickets.
