Dental on the Banks confirmed as official dentist for AFC Bournemouth
Dental on the Banks has been confirmed as the new official dentist for AFC Bournemouth.
Based in Canford Cliffs, Dental on the Banks is a local dental company. The practice will provide routine and emergency dental care for the club’s players and staff throughout the 2022/2023 campaign.
The practice team has already run pre-screening sessions at the Vitality Stadium for the first team and development squad and any new signings will also have access to routine examinations. Dentists will be available for routine services during the season and they will also attend home games, offering trauma support.
In addition to providing dental services for the club, Dental on the Banks staff will be invited to business events at the stadium and they will also be able to attend home games with friends and family members. Employees can also get tickets to networking events run by AFC Business away from the stadium.
Rob Mitchell, commercial director at the club, said that everyone is looking forward to working with the team from Dental on the Banks and feedback from initial interactions has been very positive. The players will benefit from access to “excellence in dentistry” and the partnership will be “really worthwhile,” he added.
Dr Damon Taheri, a dentist at the practice, described the opportunity as a “privilege” and said that it was the perfect move for the team to “combine our passion for this team and sport, with our support for delivering excellence in dental care.”
