Dental Nurse Hoping for a Big Charity Catch
Dental nurse, Sabrina Wood, a keen angler, is hoping to secure a big catch for charity when she visits a fishery in France at the end of March.
Sabrina, who is a dental nurse and practice manager at The Dental Barn in Upper Dicker, is heading to the Moorland Fishery in Burgundy to try and land a big catch for charity.
Sabrina is part of the Dream Team, which is made up of 16 keen anglers, with the group is heading off to France to raise money for children’s charity, Dreams Come True.
Sabrina is the only female member of the team this year and said that she is really excited about the trip. She is hoping that the team can raise as much money as possible for the charity Dreams Come True, which makes a huge difference to the lives of children with serious and often terminal illnesses.
Alison Thompson, owner of The Dental Barn, said that everyone is immensely proud of Sabrina and the work she is doing for such a worthwhile cause and the practice is donating £1 for every patient seen during the month of March.
So far Sabrina has raised more than £600 but she is hoping to reach her target of £1000 by the end of the month.
